Please respect the ancient site
No Climbing
Climbing on any of the pyramids or ancient structures is strictly forbidden. It is dangerous and causes damage to the monuments. Violators face legal penalties.
Photography
Personal photography with phones and handheld cameras is permitted without a fee. Professional equipment, tripods, and commercial photoshoots require a special permit. Flash photography is often forbidden inside tombs.
No Drones
Flying drones over the Giza Plateau is strictly illegal without an official permit from the Ministry of Defense. Unauthorized drones will be confiscated, and operators may face severe penalties.
Respect the Environment
Please do not leave any trash behind. Use the designated bins. Do not touch or lean on ancient walls or carvings to help preserve them.
